About Me

Hi! I'm Francis, I'm a software developer based in North Dublin, Ireland.


I specialise in building frontend web applications in React.js, although I have experience covering all technologies within the MERN stack. I generally consider myself technology-agnostic, however, and my primary interest lies in building useful products; emphasising code simplicity, readability, and maintainability. Additionally, I'm interested in web design, and creating websites that look professional and beautiful, beyond just meeting the minimum standards of functionality.


I have a wide array of interests outside of software development, including music performance and composition, playing TTRPGs with my friends, and optimising productivity and workflows using tools like Notion and Obsidian.
